Directions to the New View Common House
25 Half Moon Hill, Acton, Massachusetts


Parking at New View
  • Turn into Half Moon Hill, stay to the left at the fork, then turn right into the parking area halfway up the hill
  • Guest spots are the ones in the bay immediately to your right, next to the shed
  • Walk through the parking lot to the wide pedestrian path
  • The Common House is the large pale green building on your right
  • If there are no guest spots in the parking lot, you can also park along the right hand side (going uphill) of Half Moon Hill - look for the parking (and no parking) signs

 From the East or Route 128/95
  • Take Route 2 West to the Concord Rotary
  • Continue west on 2
  • After 2 mi, take Exit 43 for Route 111 - this exit is on the LEFT  (note: this exit comes up directly after a stoplight, and you should be in the left-hand lane as soon as you notice the 111 signs as it can be difficult to move over if traffic is present)
  • Continue west on 111, straight through the 1st stoplight (Route 27)
  • At the 2nd light (1 mile further) turn right onto Central St.
  • Half Moon Hill is .4 mile on your left

Heading north on Route 495: 
  • Take Exit 28 for Route 111 in Boxborough, and turn left at the end of the ramp
  • Continue east on 111 for approximately 3 miles
  • At first stoplight, turn left onto Central St
  • Half Moon Hill is .4 mi on your left

Heading south on Route 495:
  • Take Exit 29 for Route 2 East
  • Take the next exit on 2, which is Exit 41 "Newtown Road"
  • At the end of the ramp turn right (Newtown Rd becomes Central St)
  • About 1 mi further you will pass Idylwilde Farm on your right
  • Next you cross the railroad tracks
  • Half Moon Hill is on your right, a few hundred feet past the tracks
