Documents

Rights and Responsibilities: these guidelines underpin how we interact with one another.

Master Deed: this document creates the condominium ownership structure by which we are legally organized. It delineates what is owned in common by the condominium association and what is owned by individuals.

Declaration of Trust: this document governs the condominium association, including consensus, dispute resolution and the role of trustees.

Bylaws: these were used during the development and construction phase before the condominium was established.

If you are from a cohousing group in formation, please consider these documents as plastered with disclaimers: these documents worked OK for us in Acton, Massachusetts in the 1990s: they may not work for you in your location or at this time. Please be sure to get legal advice before filing complex documents such as condo docs.
