These pictures show how I build a simple, inexpensive 3D camera. Click on an image to see a larger version.

Take pictures by pressing both shutters at the same time. Develop the pictures using a service that returns them to you in a digital form (e.g., Kodak PhotoNet available at many drugstores). Then use a program like 3D Stereo Image Factory to composite them for stereo viewing.

When I put the camera into a geocache, I glue this banner onto the back of the camera describing how to use it.
